The Family of God

Isn’t it wonderful to know you are a Christian and ready for heaven?   If you have never become a Christian, or are not sure of your salvation, YOU can know that you are a born again believer (1 John 5:13).  

It is God’s will that every person born into this world will be saved and dwell eternally with Him (John 3:16; 2 Peter 3:9).   Study the Prayer for                           Salvation below, looking up the scriptures, then repeat it from your heart.

Prayer for Salvation 

Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner (Romans 3:23) and that the wages of sin is eternal death (Romans 6:23a).   But Jesus paid the price for my sin (Romans 5:8) and purchased for me eternal life (Romans 6:23b).   I truly repent of my sins (Acts 3:19). According to the instructions in Your Word, I confess (say) with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead.   Therefore, I am saved (Romans 10:9).

This I do in Jesus’ Name (John 16:23)
